Completed funding programmes

Successfully implemented funding initiatives in the field of Global Change
Humans cause damage to nature and the environment through their actions. This has not only a regional but also a global effect and concerns highly diverse factors: climate change, water availability and the decline in biodiversity are only a few selected areas.

By means of problem and solution-orientated research sponsorship the BMBF wishes to generate scientific findings to create a solid basis for action for the decision-makers.

Some of the already complete research initiatives, which have been dedicated to this problem area in previous years and were completed recently, are presented on the following pages.
